This vintage postcard has a colour image on the front depicting a street in Shandon in Cork. In the background is the tower of St Anne's Church.

On the back is a message written in black ink that reads:

"Thought you'd like an upright one for your album. Love from Daddy. Cork, 9.x.06"

The bit at the end refers to the date, 9th October 1906. The card is addressed to Miss Mary Barton at 9 Bloomsbury Place, Brighton.

Mary presumably is the sister of Bubble, who also received a postcard to the same address from her father in Cork.
