Avignon

This vintage postcard features an image of "Avignon - Le Palais de Papes, entree principal", with two men in the foreground holding a wheelbarrow and a spade. In the bottom left is some type that reads "Edit P. Reynard, a la Havane, Avignon."

On the back is a message in ink that reads:

"Will you let me know on which day you come [illegible] London & and I will try to come up if you [illegible] come here. We [illegible] one on May 22nd if nothing else...[illegible]"

This postcard is addressed to Mrs Capell in Northampton. There is a George V red one penny stamp, and two postmarks which both say Apr 24.
