This vintage postcard depicts one side of Wollaton Hall in Nottingham from the garden, looking up with steps on the right and a large bush under the balustrade on the left. There are several ink marks which look similar to the postmark ink on the back.

The back of the postcard has a message written in black ink:
"Thanks for your p.c. [postcard] glad to hear you had a good time. I am having the time of my life have been to Picture Palace, Hippodrome and [illegible], and am going round again next week kind regards F.A."

This postcard is addressed to Mrs F. Grummitt [?], c/o Miss Hadwich of Bourne Road, Alford, Lincs. There is a green halfpenny George V stamp with a postmark that clearly states 26 Aug but no year is visible.
